Laura A. Tiffin, b. 1980, is a New Mexico native and has lived and worked as a designer/art director/artist in NYC for 15 years. A Communications Design graduate from Pratt, her work is informed by the simplicity of line and form that is signature of Art Deco, Bauhaus, and De Stijl and conceptually inspired by the Dada and Surrealist movements. Rabbitneck came about as a sequel project to Rabbitneck + Dotty, Laura's handbag and leather accessories line. Yet both are formal evolutions of Laura's conceptual sculpture work utilizing a variety of materials, including but not limited to resin, foam, and electrical wire. When she's not running 12 projects at once, she enjoys reading and learning to play the piano as taught by her mother.
